What is Permanent Makeup?

Permanent makeup is a revolutionary method of applying micro-insertions of natural pigments into the dermal layer of the skin. This state of the art technique is medically proven to be completely safe. Intradermal pigmentation is used for a variety of permanent cosmetic enhancements such as permanent eyebrows, eyeliner and lip liner/colour. Other permanent cosmetic procedures include vitilago, stretchmark and scar camouflage, areola restoration, hairline enhancement and more. A "beauty mark" can accent your best facial features.

Our services have a 99.9% rate of hypoallergenic effectiveness

Lip Liner & Full Lip Colour

The intradermal pigmentation procedure creates beautiful lips. It can appear to change the size and shape of the lips as well as the colour. This procedure helps prevent lipstick from bleeding into the surrounding skin. A soft pink, similar to the lip colour of a newborn baby, is popular for those wanting a natural look. A more dramatic colour can be achieved if desired. Lips can be made larger, fuller and more balanced.

Eyebrows

Eyebrows that are naturally too light, too thin, sparse or nonexistent can be beautifully enhanced and improved with micropigmentation. The intradermal pigmentation procedure for eyebrows can mimic the appearance of hair in the brow line. Anyone who desires more fullness of the brows will love the procedure and the time saved by not applying makeup. Those who used to apply pencil can go swimming, play tennis or wipe their forehead without the embarrassment of losing their eyebrows. Aloepecia sufferers will be pleasantly surprised at how natural it looks. A solid line or hairstrokes can be done.

Eyeliner

Eyeliner enhances and defines the beauty of the eyes. A subtle, natural look, mimicking thousands of tiny eyelashes with the implantation of pigments in the lash line is popular with both male and female clients. Additional shadowing of colour can be added for a soft natural liner or a more bold, definite line can be achieved. Ophthalmologists recommend intradermal cosmetic procedures for those who are allergic to conventional makeup or wear contact lenses.

Paramedical Procedures include:

1) Scar Camouflage (due to facelifts, burns)

Skin, once damaged, usually heals lighter than your natural skin tone. This can be changed. Other forms of discolouration, including birth marks and freckles, can also be made invisible. At Lesley's, we have developed procedures that will implant colour into damaged or discoloured areas, giving your skin a smooth, continuous tone.

2) Areola Restoration

In addition to camouflaging, our para-medical capabilities include cleft lip and areola restoration, the latter providing a realistic illusion of the areola and nipple for clients recovering from breast augmentation or similar surgeries.

Painless applications of permanent makeup are offered because all procedures include topical anesthetic.

3) Vitiligo

Vitiligo is the result of the disappearance of the skin's melanocytes.

4) Alopecia Areata (White Spots)

Hairline Camouflage

5) Tricotillimania

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder - where lashes and eye brows are pulled out. Hair on the head may also be affected.
